Speed without quality is worthless. In Part 1, we explained why rapid prototyping matters. Now, let’s show you how we actually do it—and why our process delivers both speed AND professional-grade results that make White Graphics a leader in custom packaging solutions.
Our Digital Arsenal
Not all printers are created equal, and we’ve invested heavily in the technology that makes impossible timelines possible. Our state-of-the-art 20,000-square-foot facility in Naperville, IL houses cutting-edge equipment designed for both rapid prototyping and full production runs.
Xeikon Digital Presses: These aren’t your standard office printers. Our Xeikon CX300 and 3030 presses deliver vibrant, production-quality colors with food-safe toners. We use G7 Master certification standards to ensure color accuracy, which means your prototype looks exactly like your final production run will look. Learn more about our quality control standards.
Wide-Format Capabilities: For larger packaging, displays, and POP materials, our UV and solvent wide-format printers handle everything from corrugated displays to window clings. We can print, cut, and assemble complex structures in-house.
Precision Cutting & Finishing: We have laser cutters, digital cutting tables, and finishing equipment that let us create intricate die cuts, folds, and assemblies. Your prototype won’t be a flat mockup—it’ll be a functional, dimensional piece you can actually use.

The 2-4 Day Process
Here’s how we turn your concept into reality so fast:
Day 1 – Design Consultation & File Prep
You send us your artwork, or we help you create it. Our structural and graphic designers review dimensions, materials, and specifications. We preflight files and optimize them for our equipment. Our product development team works closely with you to ensure every detail is right.
Day 2 – Production & Assembly
We print on production-grade substrates—the same materials we’d use for full runs. Our team hand-assembles complex structures, applies finishes, and ensures every detail is right.
Day 3-4 – Quality Control & Delivery
Final inspection, photography for your records, and shipping. Many local clients pick up same-day; national clients receive overnight shipping.
Materials Matter
We don’t cut corners on prototype materials. Our custom packaging solutions include:
- Pressure-sensitive label materials (gloss, matte, metallic finishes)
- Folding carton boards (SBS, kraft, recycled options)
- Corrugated materials for displays
- Flexible packaging films
- Shrink sleeve films
All materials are selected to match production specifications, giving you an accurate preview of your final product.
The Human Element
Technology is only as good as the people using it. Our production team has decades of combined experience. They know how to handle specialty substrates, troubleshoot tricky designs, and suggest improvements you might not have considered. It’s this combination of advanced technology and hands-on expertise that defines our approach to custom packaging solutions.
